The Mortgage Refinancing Calculator is our sixth calculator. This calculator finds out the effects of refinancing your mortgage to take advantage of lower interest rates and/or to change the payback period. You can enter the original loan amount, number of years left on the loan, new and old interest rate, and the new mortgage term. The calculator also calculates a refinance charge and calculates the additional monthly payment if you borrow the refinance charge as well. A handy graph is provided which plots the new monthly payment over a range of different interest rates, so you can easily see the effect of interest rate on your monthly payment.
