The Future Worth Calculator is our first calculator. This calculator allows you to find out how much money you can save up. You enter an initial dollar amount, subsequent annual payments, interest (return) rate, and tax rate. You can easily vary the values and rerun the calculation. A handy graph is provided. This calculator gives you three different future worths, the first is without any taxes, the second is if all taxes on gains are paid at the end of the period (as with stocks held for the long term or on tax deferred accounts), and the third is if taxes are paid on the gain each year (as with an income fund or with money made by active trading).
