- Phillips Van Heusen- Short Profile Week Of 02/22/08
We shorted Phillips Van Heusen in our model portfolio on Friday Feb.
15th. We were stopped out of the short on February 25 by a profit
protect stop. This does not mean the stock is no longer a short
especially if Friday's general market action continues into the coming
week. We may even re-enter that short position if the market action
warrants it.
Phillips Van Heusen (NYSE: PVH - $36.51 - 02/29/08)
Ealier we said: "That stock could drop to $29.30. If it does and we
have not been stopped out on the way there, our gain could be $8.80 or
22%. And this is how we look at these trades. We find a setup. We
try to find a target. Then we take the plunge and try to extract what
we can from the Elliott Wave. Check us out at Hedge Hog University
training school if you don’t completely understand this.
